Thames Punting Club

A 100-page, illustrated history of Dittons Skiff and Punting Club has recently been published to celebrate the club's centennary (1923-2023), and a substantial section is devoted to a detailed history of punting at the club. For anyone interested, copies are available for £10 from Denny's Bookshop in Thames Ditton or Regency Bookshop in Surbiton, as well as via DSPC.

Fabulous day out on the river today punting down to Boaters at Kingston for a drink and then a picnic before punting back up to the club. In the absence of the Punting Champs today it was the perfect way to spend the day.

Sad news, that due to lack of entries, we’ve had to take the unforeseen decision to cancel this year’s Punting Championships. 😭

Punting fun at Chertsey and Shepperton Regatta. Some great racing today, looking forward to next weeks Thames Punting Club Amateur Championships

Entry forms have been sent to the clubs and are due back by midday on 31 July.
