Pedal fell off this commuter. Pedal saved chainset replaced. Free 15 point safety check and report completed.

Not very often that we take a day off in the week but a treat day at the spa was such a lovely present from my lovely.

Usual complaint of destroyed rear derailleur. Replaced with addition of new chain due to excessive stretch. Full service and straight back to the owner for forest action at the weekend.

Full service on this massive mile munchin machine. Struggled to get this one in the van it was that big.

It’s been too hectic for socials but we’re back, so many bikes in preparation for summer. We will post some jobs from the last few weeks and try harder to post more often.

Selling these two vehicles for a valued customer who at 91 has just gone 4 wheel electric.
Bike is an early 80s 12 speed Falcon we believe, very large frame measuring 24.5 inches. Ridden daily until it’s retirement.

Serviced and brakes sorted out with new pads all bled up and adjusted. Indicator dials on shifter also repaired.

Left out in the elements over winter seized and feeling sorry for itself. Serviced and given a new lease of life.

Full brake fluid change and bleed. Have a look at 2nd picture to see what 12 months of hard riding does to your fluid. New fluid in the syringe and old fluid in the pot. Spot the difference. Also replaced both levers as they were seriously compromised.

Forks re tracked, wheels tensioned and balanced and full gear and brake set up and she’s ready to go again.

Another one fixed after the usual rear derailleur into the back wheel when shifting up at the back. Becoming a standard repair. Get your bike booked in for a gear service to help prevent this issue.

Well, this one has had us stumped for several hours. Came with a reported creak from the BB area under pedal pressure. Many many options tried with a test ride after each option to analyse success. Finally cured her with adjustment made to the rear hub/frame interface. Issue isn’t always the obvious.

New bottom bracket fitted for this regular. As always a wash and mini detail as well as the safety check.

Heavy oil contamination on the discs and brake fluid full of moisture. New pads, full fluid replacement and disc clean. Set the gears after hanger alignment and she runs like new.

With the clocks going back dark nights really are upon us. Stay safe, light up and wear reflective or bright coloured clothing. So many cycles and scooters buzzing around in stealth mode. Give us all a better chance of arriving home safe.
