COMPETITIVE SALARY

This is a key role within a dedicated team. Sewing and curtain making experience is preferred but training can be given. You will be involved with many aspects of the workroom and stock room and its administration which has a direct impact on the success and profitability of the company.

Key Tasks

Processing and cutting customer orders from order sheets. Preparing and packing the orders ready for dispatch.
Preparing and sewing Made to Measure sheer curtains.
Allocating orders to relevant sections for booking in and dispatch
Working to targets as set out by your supervisor
Monitor daily stock information and reporting to the buying team when stock is low or of concern and assist with any stock queries that arise.
Provide support to the order department and customer services department on any customer order queries.
Maintain a good stock of hardware and net packs.
Maintain a high level of housekeeping by ensuring all floor areas are swept, clean and free of clutter and no exits are blocked.
All areas are to be kept well stocked up with packaging, label and all other aspects of packing. Keep stationery tidy and liaise with buying team when stocks are low.
To participate in stock counts when scheduled.
Complete other ad-hoc tasks as and when requested by your supervisor to support the business.
Additional Tasks That You May be Required of You

Support the other Green Snow Teams in peak sale times and holidays.
Work the occasional Saturdays in peak times with a day off in lieu.
Train on an industrial sewing machine to help with Made To Measure orders.
Skills and Attributes

The ability to manage time and workload independently whilst cope with multiple priorities and the varying demands to meet the business needs.

The ability to communicate effectively at all levels with team members is essential.
Attention to detail is essential.
Confidence in cutting fabric accurately.
Knowledge of sewing machines and curtains making.
Basic computer knowledge.
Must have a pleasant helpful and optimistic attitude along with willingness to increase skills and knowledge base.
Able to connect with many different types of people and adjust approach accordingly is essential.
Have a good awareness of health and safety policies and practise within the role.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Customer Service Executive to join our friendly and hardworking team. You would be working within a rapidly growing ecommerce business with an exciting future ahead and lots of opportunity for personal development.

Duties will include, but not limited to:

● Resolving customer queries via phone - this will include answering customer queries, sample requests, order updates and more
● Resolving customer queries via email in a timely and efficient manner
● Ensuring customers are kept up to date with the progress of orders or queries as and when necessary
● Provide reporting on email volume with insight into the performance
● Ensure customer service information on all websites is up to date, well maintained, accurate and effectively managed to reduce initial contact where applicable
● Book in all orders for daily courier collections (occasional)
● Assist with other duties relating to the business as required

Person Specification:
● Excellent customer service skills
● A polite and professional telephone manner
● An ability to respond to emails in a polite and friendly manner
● Recent experience within a Customer Service role is essential
● Must be very organised, motivated and able to able to work on your own initiative
● Good Computer skills – including Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel

**The right individual will have the chance to develop their skills and expand their remit within a fast growing, very hardworking and productive team. **

Whilst this role is primarily Monday - Friday, any successful applicant may be required to work some weekends or Bank Holidays to cover peak trading periods.

Warehouse Operatives (WO) are essential to the company’s day to day running, evolution and growth. It is a key role and WO’s must have ingenuity, organisation, a keen eye for detail, be able to work at ease with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and of course as part of a team.

Main duties:

Picking orders using a hand-held scanner from pick locations and bringing them for packing
Packing orders at a packing station. You’ll put products into containers, such as bags and boxes using the correct safety packaging if required, and then seal the containers ready for delivery to customers via Royal Mail or Courier.
Ensure orders are packaged and labelled correctly to prevent returned orders.
Despatching special orders created by clients – these must be processed with extreme care.
Manually booking appropriate courier solutions for some orders.
Arranging packing and distribution of our monthly subscription club.
Being responsible for the WMS being clear and ready to go the following morning. This is not just orders but also all picking locations, handhelds, packing stations (printers loaded with paper) etc
Cleaning and maintaining the warehouse and all packing stations as part of a daily routine.
Supporting rolling stock taking as required.
Health and Safety warehouse compliance.
