Today is the start of London Fashion Week and this year’s a special one as it’s 40 years ago it all started !! Fashion comes around twice a year spring/summer & autumn/winter.
Style, on the other hand, is something that we create based on our personalities, culture, life experiences and what’s happening around us.

As it’s Fashion week I wanted to pop this picture of my beautiful mum on to show you that, although, she is interested in fashion she hasn’t let it take over her own unique style, she knows exactly what looks good on her and she wears it well.

My mum has always had a Classic style personality. She doesn’t like anything out of place and likes to be coordinated. Her hair has to be neat. She does like to add some colour sometimes in a coat or a pair of shoes! Then she takes on the City Chic style personality!

I help my clients find their Style Personalities so that they understand how to dress for themselves - we are all unique, so take from the seasons new trends what sits most comfortable with you.

Hi all hope you’re keeping well……..just wanted to let you know that Pantone have announced their colour for 2024 as Peach Fuzz!!
This lovely colour is for those with warmth in their look, perfect for Warms, Lights and Softs! The Clears and Deeps will have to wear it with a deeper colour to give contrast. However, it’s not a good colour close to the face of those with cooler undertones so I suggest to wear it away from their face perhaps in a handbag or shoes😉What do you think is it a colour that you’d wear?

I didn’t think that last Friday, whilst Celebrating CMB’s 40th anniversary , a week later I’d be isolating with COVID😮having to cancel bookings and reschedule my diary!!
Well life sometimes takes us by surprise - you never know what’s around the corner. So make the most of everyday as tomorrows plans aren’t guaranteed!
I’m not the best at ‘taking time out’ but apart from sleeping (and I really haven’t felt well) Having the time to sit in the garden and read is wonderful !! And hopefully this COVID will go away soon 🙏xx💕🌈🥰

I had a fantastic weekend with all the consultants at our CMB Conference!! A massive Thank you to Cliff Bashforth, Pat Henshaw and all the team at CMB for organising everything!! And to receive the Bronze award at such a special occasion made my day!! What a spectacular weekend!!

The beige blazer makes Sarah look…..well, beige Whilst the bright blue on the right balances her strong look and gives her that wow factor. Almost identical blazers but two very different results.

Of course Sarah knows that teaming beige with a strong colour next to her face, such as a navy p***y bow blouse or emerald green roll neck, would ’rescue’ the blazer. The Colour Me Beautiful Clear palette is a very striking one. Think Demi Moore, Angelina Jolie and Megan Fox. They all have dark hair and bright eyes, and benefit from colours that are strong and vivid to balance out their look.

Our very own Sarah Harris from Sarah Harris Style and Colour is a Clear and the colours in her top look amazing on her. Sarah would never wear muted colours such as beige and stone on their own as they would 'wash' her out. But she could add one of her stronger vibrant shades from her palette to balance her look.
