🦶 Tennis Elbow Rehabilitation Part 3: Let's keep getting stronger!

Rebuilding strength and load tolerance for tennis elbow should include grip strength work. Check out these 4 exercises 🌟

1️⃣ Cable grip palm down: using a cable machine grip the handle with your palm down. Bring the cable out away from the machine and with your arm straight in front of you tense and relax your grip

2️⃣ Cable grip using hammer grip: using a cable machine grip the handle with your thumb towards the ceiling. Bring the cable out away from the machine and with your arm straight in front of you tense and relax your grip

3️⃣ Hanging kettlebell grips: holding a kettlebell by your side tense and relax your grip

4️⃣ Cable machine side steps: standing side onto the machine with your elbow bent and tuck into your side. Sidestep away from the machine and back again maintaining your arm position

Well here's Part 2 of our tennis elbow series

💪 Weighted Wrist Extension: With a light weight in hand, rest your forearm on a surface, palm facing down. Slowly lift the weight by bending your wrist upward. Control the movement back down. Repeat 10-15 times.

💪 Weighted Wrist Flexion: Similar setup, but this time palm facing up. Gently curl the weight towards your body, then lower it with control. Repeat 10-15 times.

👊 Stay consistent with these moves to build strength and reduce pain!

1️⃣ Wrist Flexor Stretch: Extend your arm straight, palm up, and gently pull your fingers back towards your body. Hold for 15 seconds, repeat 3-5 times.✋
2️⃣ Wrist Extensor Stretch: Same move, but with palm facing down. Gently pull the fingers towards you and hold.💪
3️⃣ Towel Grip & Twist: With both arms extended, twist a towel forward and backward for a gentle strength boost.👊

During the Paris Olympics, Team GB BMX racer Kye Whyte experienced a concussion following a dramatic semi-final crash.

BMX racing, while exhilarating, has a high concussion rate of around 15-20% per 1,000 athlete exposures.

A concussion is a type of traumatic brain injury caused by a blow to the head or body that causes the brain to shake inside the skull. This can disrupt brain function and lead to symptoms such as:
