For me it was pi***ng it down. It was far too long ago. Fortunately for me it was still another awesome time.

Apologies for the lack of updates since the Pyrenees. This week has begun with a few creaks and groans from the Jeep, and so we have forced ourselves to keep on a fair amount of tarmac. Living the instead with and some lakes and river sports thrown in!
Canyoning or rafting tomorrow?

Last few days where we headed through rural France, to Perpignan. Stuck in small towns, and had our own lost village festival in the woods. Thanks for joining on the first week. Enjoy back to work day....

We have another update from the last few days of the alps. We have now made it to Barcelona. Tonight we drink. Tomorrow we begin some Pyrenees exploration.

More on the Wranglers great grandfather(whether real or not) was nice to see up here.

Today’s update, We have some moving shots from the tracks that took us from Susa to Sestriere yesterday, as well as some sunset shots that we all knew you were really here for. @ Sestriere

We’re off to a flying start with mud and sun and courgettes etc. The usual things we dream of. Bar Cenisio was the choice of day one in the alps, beautiful spot at 7000 ft next to the river to camp. @ Susa, Italy

will be out travelling Europe in a few weeks, for a few weeks, and will be heading for the western alps and the Pyrenees. Where are you headed this summer?

It’s this weekend everybody, are you spending it with us in North Wales? Head over to Black rock sands for a BBQ, or hit the beautiful lanes of Snowdonia.
Either way, we’ll be basing ourselves over at Tan Aeldroch Farm, and will be there on Friday night and Saturday night for the Meet! Bring your best adventure stories.

The flash meet is here, and it’s soon. We will be heading over to our old friends at Tan Aeldroch farm, Snowdonia, and using it as our base camp for the weekend.
This is our home for the weekend, beers trucks and campfires no matter the weather.
Most importantly, this is a meet up and camp, and whilst we maintain that we are an and . We understand you want to enjoy the lanes, and base ourselves in beautiful locations which have many local lanes for you to group up, and head out to enjoy, during the day.
We have taken the time to map some of these on for your perusal. We will do our best to update these and give info on whether they’re open. But please do your own homework too!

What have you been up to the the last few weeks. We’ve been a little dead to the world, but exploring and having a few send off trips to some of our founding members who are headed back to Australia soon after over 1.5 years travelling Europe in this beast. Keep in touch on the community and keep it going out in Aus. Everybody smile and wave and look like nice people now....

Is anybody gearing up for a big road trip this summer? Where are you going? Whats the one bit of kit you wouldnt be without?

A general advisory for anyone going laning from the Tents + Tread meet in South/Mid Wales this coming weekend.. stay on route, keep group numbers lower than 6.. wales 4x4 climate is not great right now and please please please come prepared / don't do anything to endanger yourself or even your rig. Me and Callum hit North Wales this weekend and it was deep to say the least, Strata specifically could push or even break the limits of most the trucks in the group this weekend. There are other great less risky lanes in the area not far from camp for those coming mostly just to have a good camp and chat that I am happy to point out for folks sat morning / friday night.

Remember to be part of the solution not the problem folks..

Well we said we would have news Friday and Friday has come!! Come kick it for our second meet and final meet for 2018 up in the Lakes District! Camping this time around will be totally wild so please come prepared for hard ground if your not sleeping on top of or inside your rig!
