The DN44 has been problamatic in development, technical issues have led to an extensive revision of the specification with the result that it will now be designated the NN44 and appear as the pictured illustration.
The change in designation is to avoid confusion between the NN44 specifiction and the previously published DN44 specification. The NN44 will have the same USB as the DN78 (the intention for the DN44 was an expanded capability), however there are also additions to the specification such as variable frequency high pass and low pass filters.
The NN44 design is underway with prototype PCB's on order and an expected launch date of early 2021.
Each channel will have 4 inputs (line/phono/USB1/USB2), the EQ and the Isolator will be similar to the DN78. We have yet to decide if we will stick to the DN78 +12dB on EQ and +9dB on Isolator and would welcome feedback.
More details will be released as the design progresses, we anticipate making another post in early September.

Pictured is the standard version of the DN78 rotary mixer. The audio quality is exceptional, particularly when playing vinyl as the phono input is a two stage circuit that tracks the theoretical RIAA curve to within 0.5dB from 20Hz to 20Khz.

It has a valve stage that can be switched in or out of circuit, so should you feel you like the warmer sound a valve brings, just switch it in or should you prefer precise reproduction, leave the valve switched out.

While most of the mixer is analogue audio it has a 2 stereo channel USB input with one USB stereo channel going to CH1 and the second to Channel 2. The USB conversion is high quality using an italian designed front end with our own high specification DAC design to produce a result that few comparable mixers can match with onboard USB.

Designed and hand built in the UK using high quality components throughout and individually tested, the DN78 will appeal to anyone looking for a 2 channel rotary mixer that stands out from the crowd.

We are still working on a 4 channel mixer, the DN44, and we will post an update on it by August 2020.
