Job Opportunity: Corporate Insolvency Administrator

We currently have two Corporate Insolvency Administrator positions available. These roles offer an opportunity to train within all aspects of Corporate Insolvency. Working closely in support of the Department Management and Insolvency Practitioner Team you will gain exposure to a wide range of formal insolvency cases.

Duties include:
✅ Specialising in Bankruptcy, Liquidation (CVL and MVL) and Company Voluntary Arrangement (CVA) assignments,
✅ Working closely with Managers and IP’s in the day to day management and progression of formal Insolvency cases,
✅ Drafting case reports, statutory returns and accounts,
✅ Maintaining personal contact with stakeholders (both debtors and creditors),
✅ Assisting management in performing larger and more complex cases,
✅ Attending initial advice meetings and site visits as and when required.

Qualifications / Experience:
📌 Relevant experience or qualification(s) in Law, Business, Insolvency or Accountancy is essential.
📌 Applicant must have excellent communication and report writing skills.
📌 Good numeracy and analytical skills and attention to detail.
📌 Ability to manage competing priorities in a varied case portfolio.
📌 Have the ability to think laterally and act decisively.
📌 Full driving license and access to own car would be advantageous.

The role will be predominately office based and is an exciting opportunity to work within a fast-paced business environment gaining exposure to a wide range of industries and sectors.

Starting Salary: £21,000

📌 Keeping creditors up to date on payments made in by clients
📌 Opening and closing of bank accounts
📌 Taking fees and payments via debit card or direct debit
📌 Comparing database to reports daily to ensure records are correct
📌 Knowledge of various Microsoft Office applications such as Word Excel and Outlook.

Experience and Skills required:
~ Applicants should have at least 2 years experience of working in an office environment. IT literacy (Microsoft Word and Excel) and excellent communication skills are both essential.
~ The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a proven ability to work under pressure in a busy office environment.
~ Experience in dealing with client’s in difficult circumstances either financial or other, knowledge of how to carry out income & expenditures or working with clients on payment restructuring are desirable criteria.

Duties will include:
~ Preparation of statutory reports and/ or reviewing clients cases.
~ Maintenance of computer based case management records (In-house system).
~ liaising with other internal departments as required.
