We raised an amazing amount of approx £3000!! �
There are so many thank you’s to dish out for Greatfest on Friday. The event wouldn’t have taken place without any of you.
To everyone who attended, the parents who so generously took the time to bring their children, donated tombola and raffle gifts, brought raffle tickets and supported us on the day, all the staff members who stayed and supported us before, throughout and after the event, all the volunteers on the day who ran stalls, helped set up and pack away and the volunteers who kept us all entertained, CJ Hole for sponsoring us and donating a raffle prize, we really appreciate all your support, so THANK YOU!

We’re so grateful the weather held off so we could stay outside having fun. Even newly appointed MP, Max Wilkinson joined with his family for a kick about with best the goalie! We hope everyone enjoyed themselves and congratulations to all the raffle winners. You all should have been contacted if you won a prize and any prizes not collected on the day are in the school office waiting for you.

We sold an amazing number of tickets and the winners are CEDAR so they get to come to school tomorrow ( Tuesday 16th July) in non school uniform.

We have few bits left over so will be having a Tuck Shop after school on Thursday this week to make sure nothing goes to waste over the summer.

The PTA welcomes you all to our family friendly festival tomorrow 12th July 4:30pm-7pm.

We have children’s entertainment from Phil Hammond (Cotswold Children’s Parties), Inflatable fun, Brizen Youth Centre craft table and music from DJ Amy.

We’re doing a yummy BBQ and Pulled Pork (Vegan options available).
Bar with non alcoholic drinks and alcoholic drinks (no alcohol to be brought from outside in the school)

Come and Soak the Teachers and try your best at our Beat the Goalie.

We have a kids and adults tombola on the day and raffle ticket can be purchased on the day. We have great prizes on offer!

🌈Just a little reminder about Fridays Rainbow Hamper Dress Down Day 🌈 (Monday 8th YR6)

We can’t wait to see all the children in their Rainbow Colours! Remember it’s only a token item to help make up a class hamper for the raffle at Greatfest.

Tickets are still available for Greatfest and you can still get raffle tickets from the office to sell to friends and family. Please help us make this year bigger and better than last year (and pray for sunshine 😅)! 💙💛

Dear Parents and Carers,

We are writing to inform you of a change of plan regarding the upcoming Summer Disco. Due to the excitement surrounding the England match, we want to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to enjoy both the disco and the game.

Therefore, we are merging both KS1 and KS2 discos into one with the new time 3:45PM to 4:45PM for everyone. This allows everyone who wishes to watch the match to do so without missing out on the fun.

So why not drop the kids off at the disco to burn some of that energy and join us for a pre-match drink. It’s a great chance to relax and socialise with other parents before heading off to cheer for England.

♻️👚This Thursday is our collection date for Rags2Riches. 🩴♻️
A perfect time to sort all your summer clothes etc, help people across the world who can’t afford clothes and help raise much needed funding for the school.

Any bag will do but we do now have bags at school so pop into the office to collect your bags.

We get 40p per KG so are really grateful for all your donations.

Please don’t bring your donations into school until Thursday morning as we don’t have the room to store it all.

With only 2 weeks left of the term, we thought we’d let you know about our end of term Sweet Treat Friday on the 24th May.
Why not treat yourselves and the children to something sweet on the last day of term. They’ve all worked so hard and what a great way to end the SATS for the YR6’s!

We’ll have Doughnuts 🍩 and Mystery Sweet Bags 🍬(allergy friendly) for sale.

Come and join us after school in the hut. We’ll be taking cash and card ☺️

with Rags 2 Riches 4 Schools!
 
Do you have clothes in your wardrobe that you no longer wear, maybe last year’s fashions, or that buy that was too good to leave but it’s not really you after all?
 
Please help us fundraise by donating your good quality unwanted, re-useable (clean, dry and wearable) clothes and accessories
(please pair and tie shoes together)
 
 
Your donations become affordable clothing in other countries
so please do not send poor quality, dirty or wet items, and no duvets, pillows, curtains, books, CDs or bric-a-brac.

STOP and THINK - is it something you’d wear out and about yourself or pass to a friend? If not, no-one else will want to buy and wear it either, so unfortunately it’s not reusable and can’t go in the bag.
 
Even if it’s only one t-shirt please bring it in, as it will all help our school.
If you can involve family, friends and neighbours please do.
 
We truly appreciate your support in helping raise additional funds for our school for the benefit of our children.
 
There’s no better feeling than knowing you raised funds, helped the economy, the environment, and somebody on the other side of the world – and all by donating some clothes.
 
We have loads of bags in the office so pop in and grab a couple!
 
If we can fill 100 bags we’ll have half a tonne!

Hope you all had a great Bank Holiday weekend?!

A huge thank you to all the children on Friday who had some brilliant hair styles and accessories, brightly coloured nails, fab leggings/tights and socks and cool hats! We hope you enjoyed getting ready for our Break the Uniform Rules Day?!

Thanks to you all, we raised £304.79!! It was a rather wet morning but it was well worth it 😄

Don’t forget it’s Dalmatian Day today so wear something black and white to support The Gloucestershire Deaf Association. Shakey bucket will be on the gate this morning.
