I provide opportunities for musical education and development within schools through a variety of music making situations

I can offer Curriculum Music PPA cover within schools. In addition to this I can bring a musical dimension to any topic work schools may be undertaking through workshops and activity days. If you want an after school club - choir or music group then contact me for details. If you are currently studying GCSE / A level music and need some extra tuition then send me a message. I also offer piano tuition and ABRSM Theory tuition.

He also recorded his ABRSM Grade 5 today so, hopefully, this part of his piano playing journey will end in the success he deserves. Jayron, I will miss you! Good luck in everything you do! ๐ŸŽน ๐ŸŽถ

After one of the most disrupted years of teaching ever, my ABRSM results are in!

Grade 1: merit
Grade 2: 2 X good pass and 1 X merit
Grade 4: 2 X good pass
Grade 5: high merit

Very proud of everyone, well done Jess, Harry, Heidi, Isabel, Julia, Hannah and Jonathan! All have had more online teaching than face to face in this last year and I think this is an incredible achievement for everyone.

Thanks also to all the parents and others who sort out IT issues on zoom, who bring their lovely children to me and who are unending in their support. Hopefully next year will see even more wonderful piano playing!

Happy holidays everyone!

04/05/2021

So I think I was one of the few that managed to book my ABRSM exams straight away today with no problems! 5 pupils entered...now the work starts!!

09/04/2021

Finally an official acknowledgment that some of us teach adults who just want to learn for fun and aren't working towards an exam... Hurrah! Face to face teaching for all!

For a girl who has palpitations if someone so much as pretends to put liquid near her piano, this nearly gave me a heart attack. A grand piano used as a kitchen island? It's bad enough they have a vase of flowers on it! Unacceptable!!!!! ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ˜ฑ

One year ago today was my last day at Fishburn Primary School because the schools shut. Today I'm back again for the first time since the world went mad! I'm not ashamed to say I was a little emotional about it all!!! So good to be back!

22/02/2021

So, hopefully this means we can start face to face piano lessons again as of April 12th, subject to the state of the world etc etc. I cannot wait! ๐Ÿคž๐Ÿป๐Ÿคž๐Ÿป๐Ÿคž๐Ÿป๐ŸŽถ๐ŸŽถ
