This morning, as I was planting and watering the garden at the crack of dawn, admiring all the colours, I was thinking of my mum and feeling the gratitude. It is her that I have to thank for planting the seed of love and respect for all life - plant, animal and human life alike through nourishment and kindness, starting with our own. And for the ability to experience pure joy and awe when in nature and equally being moved by nature.
While the world feels less whole without the loved ones, they continue to make this world a better place by having left the legacy of love of some kind behind them deep within us. It is the way we pay it forward through our own children.
