To celebrate the start of the summer holidays we are hosting an afternoon of electronic music on Saturday July 6. Enjoy tacos, seafood and Nineties vibes. We can’t promise the sunshine but we can hope 🙏

Join us as we celebrate our opening six days a week from Tuesday July 2nd until the World Stone Skimming Championships in September.

Remember, the ferry breaks for dinner so make sure you’re on the 615pm ferry or you’ll miss out. The late ferry is booked too so you’ll not need to rush off.

To accommodate the evening there will be a few changes to our hours on Friday. We’ll be closing the cafe 330pm (kitchen at 230pm). And the pub will be reopening at 9pm.

Dos de Mayo. Tres de Mayo. Join us on Cuatro de Mayo for our Cinco de Mayo celebration. If you can’t join us for tacos on Saturday night, we will be running our Sea Shack Restaurant on Friday night this week (booking recommended). Plus, we’ll have music in the pub both nights this weekend. What’s more, to help us all appreciate bank holiday Monday, we’ll be staying open a little later on Sunday (630pm) so you can enjoy a pint in the sun before the 7pm ferry home.

While we have you, we’ll be running our Sea Shack Restaurant night on Friday next week too as we have a private function on Saturday. So don’t miss out.

We are so excited to be stocking these exclusive soaps from the brilliant Siabann Eisdeal 'The Puffer' and 'The Rainbow' are on sale in our cafe now. They smell gorgeous! You cannot buy these anywhere else but you can check out Beth's amazing range at her shop on the island.

Hurrah! We are back and excited. Please come join us tomorrow for tasty soups, sandwiches and ‘from the land or sea’ specials. While we finish up our prep and get the place ready we’re keeping our doors closed so the pub won’t open tonight. But from tomorrow we’ll be open Friday nights again too. We look forward the re-opening the café this weekend and next. While the kitchen warms up for the season we’ll be serving some simple winter warmers instead of our full menu. We’re also trialling some new treats so do come pay us a visit.

The Puffer Pub is back open tonight - then Thursdays and Saturday evenings. Plus we’ll be reopening it the Cafe for a few days in Feb half-term and hosting darts three upcoming Fridays. Hope to see you soon.

It’s here. Final day of the season is upon us – so we are offering 25% off all food and drink (excluding alcohol) for the whole day. But when it’s gone, it’s gone. Come join us – open 1100 to 1600 (kitchen 1200-1500). Booking highly recommended. Hope to see you then.

Happy Halloween. Along with spooky treats all weekend we are getting ready for The Puffer Halloween Party on Sunday. Kids eat free - see the tasty menu here. This will also be our last Sunday of the season.

On Saturday evening we’ll be hosting the last Sea Shack Restaurant night too. Book now to avoid disappointment. And sadly that means the café will close for the season next Saturday, 4 November. Pub will remain open some evenings through the winter. And we’ll be back in full swing in 2024.

Now that The Puffer is quiet and we’re recovering we’d like to say a big thank you! Thanks to for creating such a fantastic event. To our wonderful staff who kept the coffee flowing, food cooking and beer pouring. To the friends and family who volunteered their time. And of course to all the wonderful customers who kept The Puffer buzzing all weekend.

As the new owners we are thrilled to have been part of our first World Stone Skimming Championship Event.
