Storymine will be running Wildflower Clay Workshops throughout the day at the festival.

Come along for a family friendly activity to highlight the importance of our Wildflower Meadow habitats here in the Uk. Storymine will help you create beautiful pressed terracotta clay tiles highlighting the beauty of our natural world and the importance of our wild spaces. The activity is aimed at children aged 6 plus years.

Storymine's Emma says:
"We have taken inspiration from the Wildflower Meadows that are in decline in the UK. We have lost 7.5 million acres of wildflower meadow and flower-rich grassland since the 1930s according to the Royal Botanical Gardens in Kew. 1400 insect species rely on them for survival including grasshoppers, crickets and butterflies. They help to maintain a healthy ecosystem with hedgehogs, birds and bats eating the insects that breed in wildflower meadows."

🗣Green Festival ‘Speaker’s Corner’🎤

If you are planning to come to the Green Festival in Ludlow on Sunday, 10th July, we hope you will check out Speaker’s Corner.

Situated by the music stage, Speaker’s Corner offers an opportunity between the music sets for anyone who wants to have their say about the climate crisis, sustainability, …. whatever you feel passionate about to do with the environment.

Slots of a couple of minutes each can be booked in advance for the last quarter of each hour throughout the duration of the festival.

You could fly solo, or you may wish to share the microphone with others.

We would also love to hear some younger voices as well.

If you would like to take this opportunity to have your say, and perhaps win some people over to your way of thinking, contact me and I’ll book you a slot.

But even if you are shy of the limelight, come along and listen to others throughout the day.
