Mike Fleetham has a calm, pleasant, soothing podcast voice. Here he is talking to Maria Wojciechowska-Caneda of Arco Iris Learning about Creativity in Podcast 25. We came across Maria through our Free Saturday ZoomSchool events. Recently we met in person for the first time, and at one point Maria thought she was listening to Mike's podcast as he launched into a piece of knowledge sharing in the exactly the same tone of voice!

Still catching up on my podcast tweets. This is a few weeks old, #39 One Word Judgement. A single word has immense power. But who decides which word is used to describe, to summarise, to evaluate, to judge? Mike looks at this in several ways: through the much loved Parking Eye organisation; through a short story about cognitive enhancement; with the Your One Word activity; (Oxford semi-colon) and by describing a hypothetical scenario where single words don't really make sense. In this episode Pete reveals his 'one word' and Mike uses the profanity bleep-out sound effect. Twice.
