1st anniversary of our colleague Sarah Lee joining RAISE. Her work on Colne Levelling Up projects incl Colne Market & help promoting the Heritage Quarter has many plaudits. It's great to have Sarah, who lives in as our person on the ground at this exciting time for Colne!

Exciting announcement! Pendle Borough Council now owns Pendle Rise Shopping Centre .
We're working with the Council to bring a new lease of life to the dated 1960s centre – as part of shared plans to revitalise the town.
Including high quality architecture and landscape design, there'll also be a stronger retail offer and the centre will become a great place for the community to meet.

We can't wait to get fully underway with this vital Town Deal funded project.

People can now register their interest in Spring Mill . Work is well underway to build 53 eco-friendly homes including 13 affordable homes for rent Project supported by Borough Council. It's an elevated site with far reaching views across Lancs/Yorks border.

Our Project Support Assistant Charlie Hawken divides his time between a degree in Film Production at the University of - and working for RAISE. Charlie is Producer and First Assistant Director for the psychological thriller set in a rural B&B. Winning Best Cinematography, Best Sound and Best Film at this year's Salford Film Festival
Well done to Charlie and everyone involved!
We're proud to have played a part in Charlie Hawken's growing success, following his involvement in our Made in Creative
Collective, which supports young film makers.
However, having seen the film, we won't be booking B&B accommodation

Renovation work on The Little Theatre is complete using Government Levelling Up funding. We're thrilled to see the results and enjoy the first production! We've been proud to be part of the professional team for this innovative development to build out Colne based architect's Andrew Hawthorne great design combining modern and historic to great effect. Note the re-use of the stone setts which were reclaimed from the yard and date back to the time when this building was a stable block!

As regeneration programme managers for Pendle Borough Council it was interesting to visit the historic gasometer in Brierfield to see the work being carried out. It’s an important landmark for the Northlight complex and National Grid has now announced the work to remove the enormous gas tank is complete and this iconic structure is ready for the next chapter…

As regeneration programme managers for Pendle Borough Council it's been wonderful to see the total transformation of Northlight which is home to some great organisations including Gawthorpe Textiles Collection which was officially opened yesterday. It's a fitting location for this incredible collection and place for creative textile workshops – situated in a stunning iconic mill which was once at the heart of Lancashire’s cotton industry.

Great to see the progress being made by Carrick Sports Construction with Toby Grace at Wolverley CE Secondary School alongside Anthony Derrer as the pitch plateaux start to emerge from the hillside. Thank you to a great team including Agile Homes Raise Pavilions Leonard Design
The project is funded by the Football Foundation,
Worcestershire County Council and The Garfield Weston Foundation.

Great to be out this week creating a short film with Graham Kay for two projects we're involved with and very passionate about!
