Lovely dramatic sky just before the rain came in, often the way.

A study of the sea and sky in winter. Painted outside with the sea and sky constantly changing so I had to just go for it and hope for the best!

Recently discovered this old painting tv series on YouTube called 'Worldscapes' presented by John Stobart. I had never heard of it before but found it very enjoyable to watch him painting outdoors alongside guest artists.

Lovely winter light today

Out painting in the cold yesterday, beautiful light though so was well worth the pain of numb fingers fingers!

I have had a busy summer painting and preparing for lots of upcoming exhibitions. I have just delivered the paintings for the first of them at Gallery on the Square.

Was recently photographed by David Collyer while out painting near Dittisham. He just happened upon me painting along the road and captured the moment using his 1959 Leica M3. The same camera that Henri Cartier-Bresson used. I highly recommend you head over to his website to see more of his fantastic photography.
