Succulents are a great choice for any wedding. They are durable and won't wilt if they don't get water for a few days which means you can make arrangements ahead of time.

In this extreme heat I prefer to lay the wreaths in a tray of water for about an hour. Once I take them out I leave them flat for another 30 mins to ensure they take up as much water as possible. They are then hung to allow excess water to drain away. At the moment I am doing this about once a week, but normally this is only required every couple of weeks and even less when the weather is not hot

With imminent water restrictions and soaring temperatures ..... I am sooo glad I chose to grow succulent plants and not something else!!! 😉

So Blenheim Palace Flower Show is only at the end of next month and due to the whole family coming down with covid I am now having to play catch up with making succulent wreaths. I am very behind schedule with making enough for the display stand and to sell and just have all fingers and toes crossed that I can miraculously get them all made up in the next few weeks so they have time to grow! 😱

We recently attended the Garden Press Event at the Business Design Centre. It was a great opportunity for us to introduce our products to journalists, broadcasters, freelance writers, bloggers and voggers. The day was a great success and we have lots of very interesting and exciting projects coming up!! We also won the best stand award! 🥳

The Spring collection of kokedama are available from the middle of January to the middle of May. Over these four months the choice of plants available changes as the months progress. For this reason we give the option of colour, rather than plant choice. We fill each kokedama with a selection of 3 flowering plants and include small spring flowering bulbs. Or if you prefer we can fill with 2 x flowering plants, 1 x evergreen plant e.g: fern or heuchera and Spring bulbs

Finally settled down for the evening and looking forward to relaxing over the next couple of days.
Another year of ups and downs for people everywhere. Another year of wishing things were back to normal again and another year of missing those people special to us.
We found out at the beginning of the year we were to become grandparents. My daughter lives in Berlin, but we thought nothing was going to stop the wonderful plans we had for the year..... or so we thought 😥 Sadly our first Christmas with our granddaughter will have to be put on hold. But fingers crossed I will get a cuddle soon!
So I'm wishing everyone a very happy Christmas and hope you get to cuddle the ones you love ❤
As always I will be closed for the month of January while I catch up on paperwork, office filing, planning for 2022, housework, family and sleep! xx

Our stunning 10 inch Echeveria copper rings are so unusual. The cut echeveria rosettes are wired to the ring and will last for months, or even longer! When finished with, the echeveria can be potted into gritty soil to take root and will continue to grow for years to come!!
