Post op, on the road to recovery **kcancer

Huge thanks to an awesome team at Sheffield Northern General for taking care of me after a heart attack last week. Simply brilliant CCU team and the nurses on the Chesterman Ward.

I’m killing it this year with illness Top Trumps, wonder what’s next to try it’s luck? Despite the chaos it was still quite exciting being blue lit to Sheffield and thanks to paramedic Hannah and her pal who I can’t remember because I was busy with the heart attack.

All good now though, it was caused by a side effect of the chemo drugs and it’s all fixed. Bizarrely it turns out that otherwise my heart is super healthy and there’s zero damage to it.

My life now. Basically a magnet for side effects and very toxic. Worst of all, no cold drinks for the foreseeable! I’m now officially a chemo kid
