From 3 to 7 October 2022 it’s Back Care Awareness Week. Back pain is incredibly common. Around 60% of the adult population can expect to have lower back pain at some point in their life. Whilst back pain is not usually a sign of a more serious condition, it can still be distressing and a real inconvenience.

Back pain is only one of the things that is caused by an unhealthy spine.

So why is spinal health so important?

Not only does your spine carry your whole body but it also has the very important role of protecting your Central Nervous System (CNS). Your CNS is involved in every system of the body from the circulatory and respiratory to the digestive, immune, and hormonal networks.

As a result, your spine has a central role in your whole health and wellbeing.💙

As a massage therapist I can highly recommend the use of Holistic Therapies and their benefits some of which are shown in the picture to this post.
