Camber Demo + community get together is on for this weekend! 👇

We’ll be kicking things off at The Kitesurf Centre for a tea, catchup and free pre-session big air talk with Lewis. From there we’ll be heading down to the Kitesurf Centre for the dropping tide and a bit of SW breeze.

It’s also a really important day in the calendar, as everyone from The Kitesurf Centre & the kite community will be remembering Steve, who for anyone who met him, will know what a big loss he was to our scene.

The Kitesurf Centre will be hosting a kite session & BBQ, or Braii as Steve would prefer us to call it, in memory of him. So be sure to stick around after your session for a bit of food.

What is Wing foiling, I hear you ask?

Wing foiling or wing surfing or winging is a wind propelled water sport that developed from kitesurfing, windsurfing and surfing. The sailor, standing on a board, holds directly onto a wing. It generates both upward force and sideways propulsion and thus moves the board across the water.

This sport is great for all wind strengths but also for the minimal wind speeds. So when you can't kite because of the wind, wing foiling is the next best thing!

The BKSA level 1 instructor training course is The first step in your instructor career, the BKSA Instructor Training Course gives you the ability to teach at all BKSA affiliated schools.
With this qualification, you'll be able to teach in the UK and worldwide.

Since 2008, The Kitesurf Centre has trained hundreds of new instructors. We’ve provided additional training to prepare riders to meet the required standards of the BKSA Instructor Training Course, and this spring we’re ready to help you.

Join one of our group or private land kiting lessons and give kite landboarding a go!

Landboarding is perfect for adults and children (8+) alike, and is also great for those wanting to try out kitesports without heading into the water. Using a powerkite, the wind and a mountainboard, you can cruise along miles of Camber’s flat and sandy beach. Learning to kitelandboard is much easier than you might imagine, so if you’re looking for a short activity which is fun for all ages and abilities, landboarding is a brilliant option!

Kite landboarding skills transfer into kitesurfing and can be especially helpful to progress your riding from the boardstart phase to continuous riding.
