It's week, so I thought I'd let you all know that aside from my main optical business selling spectacles I also work for Step by Step https://www.facebook.com/StepbyStep1989 as a Supported Lodgings Host ( like fostering but for 16-21) it's a stepping stone from homelessness or leaving care to independent living.
They are desperate for hosts as demand far outweighs supply! So if you have ever thought about fostering but felt that it was too much commitment this is a great way to help without having to give up too much of your life! You don't need to have a partner and you can still work.

My Story

My name is Carol, Some of you may remember my dog "Rivers" and I from Everyone's Eyewear in Andover High Street. Since we sold the practice I continued with our domiciliary service (Visionright / Complete Community Care) until I sold out to my business partner in 2016. I took a summer off and since then I have been working as a dispensing manager at Solent Spectacles in Southampton.

Two years have passed so now it's time to branch out on my own again.

My aim is to provide a friendly quality driven dispensing service and spectacles at an affordable price but in the comfort of your own home. See the gallery for examples of frame styles and prices.

Responsible for the accuracy and timely delivery of NHS paperwork for each customer, averaging 20 appointments per day, operating a 5-day working week.
