As the founder of this market I'm so excited to announce that it is returning to Brixton Station Road on both 10th September and 8th October this year 10-4pm and it will be bigger and better than the first one with more traders, activities and fun vibes!!!

Taino condiments will be there on both days too so come down and stick up 🙌🏾

We will be at the Spring Fling on Saturday 29th April in Copeland Park.

All the stalls at this market pay extra close attention to their environmental impact. From hyper local businesses reducing the market's carbon footprint, to sustainable production, to equal offsetting and amazing pay it forward schemes, to small businesses that are doing things differently and we love to see it!

I've been quiet for the past month because I've been working hard on this mega event!!!

It's called the Black Farmers Market and it's taking place on Brixton Station Road and inside POP Brixton on Sunday 9th October 9am - 4pm.

This is an event like no other, there's Black growers from across London selling fresh, locally grown produce. Then there's fantastic black business owners selling an array of products including drinks, jewellery, stationary etc.

Then to keep us all entertained we have live DJ and musicians, street Zumba, face-painting, workshops provided by community growing projects and street food to keep our bellies full!

I have overindulged, finished all the leftovers and can't look at Christmas food anymore so tonight I'm having something lighter.

I've roasted seasonal vegetables like butternut squash, beetroot, onions and peppers which were glazed with Bacchanal sauce before I popped them in the onion.

I'm serving it with Kale and now I just need to decide which condiment to eat with it. Which one would you choose?
