Sooo! … Last year we took a soaking ! However!! in true Garthorpe spirit you braved the weather ,turned out in force and made it another great party in the park .

This year we hope the weather is on our side 🙏

Not because we don’t like them , it’s because the field is our children’s safe play area.

🌟Village Hall Committee needs Your Help 🌟

We’re very nearly there to starting the brand New Kitchen Extension, but we need to show the grant people an update on all the lovely support we have received for doing this project. If you can add a comment or a thumbs up to this post, we would really appreciate it.

A quick reminder of our plans -
Build an extension to the hall to house a new kitchen.
It would be bigger, comply with all new food-hygiene rules and leave the existing kitchen as utility storage area. It would be at the back of the hall in the space currently occupied by storage sheds.
Most of the money would come from grant schemes.
Some (about 10%) would come from the hall's
Development Fund; this is especially set aside for major improvement projects. We don't expect to increase hall hire costs to pay for this.
