Thought I'd share this snail plaque that I made as a Christmas present. I offer various door plaque designs (fox, two types of owl, badger, rabbit, hare, unicorn, dragon, etc) but I can also create custom designs!

My stall at Platt Fields Market Garden on Saturday. We had amazing weather and it was a really great event. Thank you to the organisers, my customers and fellow stallholders for making it fabulous!

Today's jobs include making sure all the jewellery is boxed and ready for tomorrow's market at Platt Fields Market Garden.

Here's a work in progress - fun with leaf rubbings, wax resist and collage! I thought it was going to be very quick, but as usual I was wrong about that.

Meanwhile I've also been pyrographing and getting some Etsy orders in the post. Don't forget to order your Christmas cards - there aren't many left!

December is upon us! I'm happy to report that I completed yesterday - a 50,000 word first draft of a novel in one month! That kept me pretty busy throughout November, so I have not been posting much art stuff. I'm hoping to create some new things to share very soon (once I've caught up with some pyrography orders!). In the meantime, I thought I'd let you all know that there's a big sale on over at Redbubble, so it's an ideal time to get your Christmas orders in.

Coaster alert! I only have one of each design left (two armadillos) and I will be pulling them off the virtual shelves in the next day or two because they're needed elsewhere. This is the last call for coaster snaffling as they won't be back in stock for a while (after Christmas).

I have been keeping pretty quiet because this year I am doing Nanowrimo for the first time, which means writing a 50,000 word novel during the month of November. 😬 However, I'm going to need to start this week catching up on orders, so I thought I'd pop in here to say that I have a variety of Christmas cards available both in packs and singly - link in the comments. Some designs are running low, so don't wait too long!

I had a break last week (if that's the word! It involved archery, fencing, cycling and Whitby Goth Weekend) but I'm back home now. I'm just off to the post office with some Christmas card orders!

It's the annual dilemma! On the one hand Christmas is months away, but in the other hand some people (not me!) are super organised. And then there's the fact that handmade Christmas decorations and gifts can't be ready in an instant....so here I am, quietly pointing out that there are some Christmas things in my shop already. I have some of these hand burnt wooden tree directions in stock and ready to post, but I can also take commissions for different wording, personalised decorations and more complex and colourful designs!
