I've noticed there's been a increase in visitors to this page recently so thought I should clarify that I'm not currently teaching. I hope to do do again when circumstances allow.

Why I Am Revoking My Yoga Alliance Registration 18/09/2018

To qualify for the Iyengar yoga teacher training, a minimum of 3 years practice was a basic prerequisite. As far as i'm aware this is more that any other yoga teacher training requires.

Why I Am Revoking My Yoga Alliance Registration After fifteen years of affiliation with Yoga Alliance, I have decided to revoke my registration. I will no longer be individually associated with Yoga Alliance as an RYT yoga instructor nor will I register any further yoga schools with Yoga Alliance.

Yoga on tonight in the library at Balfron High 6-7pm. Bring 2 (or 3) blankets as well as your mat and belt this week please.

Tomorrow's yoga class will be upstairs in the library at Balfron High School. If possible remember to bring a mat, a foldable blanket (or 2) and a belt or tie. I wasn't prepared for the number of you that turned up last week! - I will be this time. If after last week's class you've decided yoga isn't for you don't give up - try other teachers first - there's a yoga teacher out there for everyone.

Thanks to all who came along to support the yoga class today - we raised £90 towards the cost of the gymnastics foam pit!! I'm delighted. Hope to see you all back next week. Remember to beg or borrow mats, blankets and belts if you can.

Yoga classes start this Thursday, 6-7pm in dance studio at BHS. If you don't know where to go just ask at sports reception desk. Bring yoga mat if you have / can borrow one and a foldable blanket or large towel. There will be a limited number of mats to borrow. Please wear loose comfortable clothing - leggings ideal - and be prepared to take your socks off!

19th April to 24th May 2018 (6 weeks)

Suitable for those new to yoga or to those who want to refresh their basic skills. Iyengar yoga is a very safe form of yoga with emphasis on precision in poses. Practicing yoga helps you overcome and prevent many stresses, strains, aches and pains and is of benefit to general health and wellbeing.

£5 per class - all money received (minus hall hire) will be donated to Balfron Gymnastics Club foam pit appeal
