A trip to Lancashire Auto last week to tint a few cars for them. 👊😎

I’ve worked on a few of these lodges recently, this one had a Neutral 35% film installed. The objective was to add a bit of privacy from neighbours and people passing by. This film also eliminates UV, and reduces heat & glare helping keep soft furnishings fresh 👌

So I’m back to it after taking some time out! A house move, closing the workshop and a new baby later I’m excited for the next chapter. Here’s a peek at what I’ve been upto this week.

We are currently looking to recruit for a position coming up in the workshop. The role will involve installing window films on mainly vehicles but also on buildings from time to time.

No experience is necessary with window films as full training will be given.

Knowing your way around cars and a socket set would be an advantage.

Automotive trade experience is also an advantage.

Ideally, candidates will have a minimum of 3 years' "real world" experience.

Applicants should be happy to work alone at times once the training period is over.

We had this Defender in a couple of weeks back. Not the most fun vehicle to tint 😫 Then end result was worth the effort though 👌

This Tesla Model 3 came in to us after going to for a dechrome and roof pillars wrapped gloss black. We installed factory level tint to finish off the look 👌 ready for sale ✅️

I've been asked about doing chameleon films I don't know how many times, now a reputable supplier has started stocking these 2 products I thought I'd try them out. Using the Ace Tints van and the wifes car as guinea pigs this is the result! I think I like the blue the most 🤔

We had this BMW X3 in for rear windows tinted in 18% for a factory look and also installed gloss black grills 👌

We had this E class convertible in for window tint and tail lights to be tinted 🙌👌

Tinting the lights on your car can make a big difference for a reasonable outlay 💷. If you like your vehicle to be a bit different from everyone else's then this could be an option for you.

3 vans in this morning for a local company for rear windscreens to be tinted 😎 👌

We had a trip out to these 2 properties to install some solar control film to these bi-fold doors. Both houses had a problem with glare and excessive heat, applying the correct window film can make a huge difference in this situation.

Two cars for the same family, both tinted in .uk 18% Carbon. 👌

This one was a little different, the noise it made was 👌😍🤣

We've had a busy last few weeks with lots of vehicles coming through the workshop. A good mix of limo 5% and 18% for a factory look 👌

Could be a bit controversial tinting an old bus like this.😲 It was a first for me doing one of these and the objective was to add a bit of privacy and also protection from the 🌞 as this old girl is used regularly. 🚐 Plus it's totally reversible if need be down the line 😁👌
