I have been doing course and had so many abstract play pieces on paper that I decided to make some collage frames from some of them and I love them! They are now proudly hanging in my hallway 🥰

Now I’m wondering if anyone else would be interested in purchasing something like this 🤔

Wow this came up in my memories. 11 years ago since I picked up my macro lens. It’s been far too long!

Back from a lovely family holiday to Bournemouth with my little munchkin who adored playing in the sand and riding on the land train along the beach! I’ve come back refreshed and with lots of new ideas. My Etsy shop is back open. Thank you to everyone who has ordered so far ☺️

I don’t think the photos do justice to how beautiful these textures and colours came out! Thank you for an introduction to mica powder, it’s my new favourite thing 🥰🥰🥰 (especially working with the texture paste lessons in the which are brilliant!)

Now to order mica powder more in different colours 🤣

I have been experimenting with texture and created some reference pieces I can use after learning from course! Just need them to dry before I can paint them and really see the textures come to life but already feel some are singing to me and others not so much.

Created 4 seeds and used one to inspire a larger piece. Im really pleased with the result! Now to move onto canvas….☺️

This popped up in my memories this week 🥰🥰. It’s been a while since I picked up my camera but this photo my explain why I’m always drawn to peacock colours in my painting 😂

So I’m on a journey of discovery at the moment. Trying to find my confidence with painting again by doing course!

First exercise was create 42 pieces of art with no product pressure and just enjoying the process of play! Out of 42 I have 16 loves, 11 meh and 15 no’s which considering I haven’t had the confidence to paint for years, I think is pretty good going! Thank you Ange for giving my the opportunity to do your course 🥰. Onto the next exercise…. 😁
