Established in 2017 by a group of like minded athletes and friends - Wearside Triathlon boasts a range of triathletes from all age groups who like to train hard and race hard. The aim of the club is to support each other in order to reach our full potential and become the best we can be. There is no hierarchy, no committee and decisions are made by the athletes for the athletes, everyone has a voice and the club is what we make it, what we want it to be.

How tragic this is another statistic of what can happen at any part of a 70.3 or 140.6 event more so on the swim as it can be very stressful for some not so strong swimmers RIP to this athlete my prayers are sent to his or hers family RIP 😢
