B9099 Caputh Bridge Resurfacing Works

We are planning to undertake road resurfacing works on the B9099 at Caputh Bridge.

The works are programmed to begin tomorrow, Friday 14 April 2023, and will take approximately 2 weeks to complete, weather permitting.

To safely and efficiently carry out the works, a road closure will operate between 9:30am and 3:00pm. The works will take place on weekdays only, with no weekend working planned.

Vehicle access to properties within the closure area (detailed in the map below) will be maintained when the works allow and it is safe to do so, however, we cannot guarantee immediate entry to /exit from properties when the carriageway is being excavated or when the new hot road material is being laid.

Access for emergency service vehicles and pedestrians will always be maintained. On waste collection days, please present your bin as normal.

Regrettably, there will be some inconvenience and disruption whilst the works are taking place. We will do our best to minimise this as far as possible and would like to take this opportunity to thank residents and motorists in advance for their co-operation.

Roxie is a nervous girl who is wary around new people, men in particular, and she has also shown guarding behaviour in the past, so she really needs a dedicated and understanding owner who can help her work on these issues. She is very affectionate around people that she knows, and loves getting cuddles and made a fuss of. 💚
