Happy Monday! We started the day with a delivery in Coventry to our fabulous clients, Baxter Baristas, in their new premises at Herbert Art Gallery & Museum, and were delighted to find that we were their very first customers!
So if you’re around and about, pop in and see Steven and his lovely team amd take time for a brew and something to eat. We are also excited to announce that they are stocking our traditional, authentic Coventry Godcakes, so now you have two locations to choose from for your Godcake fix!
And that’s a wrap (gift wrap that is, ha!). The kitchen is tidied, cleaned and closed for the festive season now.
We’d just like to wish all of our customers, followers, supporters and friends a very Merry Christmas and a fantastic New Year! Thank you for all your support, we’d be nothing without you. 😘🎄🎅🏻🎄🎅🏻🎄❤️

A little peek at some of the tasty goodies we’ll be taking to The Mini Hand Craft Christmas Fayre today at Hood Lane Farm in Old Arley. These are Mrs Mann’s tartlets-they have a little mincemeat, a lot of fruit, some Christmas spice, sticky marmalade a dash of alcohol, topped with a toasted marzipan star. They’re really tasty and go brilliantly with a lovely cuppa! Come and try them! 😍
Hello! This coming Sunday is Stir up Sunday, the traditional time to mix up the Christmas pudding and get the whole household to take a turn at the stirring.
We’re in the kitchen today, Simon is making our traditional pork pies and Leigh is setting fruit to soak ready to bake Christmas cakes. Our Christmas order books are still open, if you’d like to place an order with us.
Our 1lb pork pies will feed between 4 and 8 people, depending how much everyone has, and cost £5 each. If you’re interested in pork pies (not just for Christmas, we do those all year round!) please do message or call us.
Our Christmas cakes are classic but light fruitcakes handmade from scratch to a very old recipe, and decorated by hand. A 6 inch decorated cake will be £20 and an 8 inch will be £25. We only have 2 spaces left on the order book for cakes, thank you to everyone who’s already ordered, please do get in touch asap if you’d like to order.
Our books will close for seasonal orders on 1st December. We’ll look forward to hearing from you!
Ooh! It’s beginning to look a lot like (the run up to) Christmas! We’ll be at this event with a selection of goodies for you to purchase and try. Come and visit us and the other fantastic sellers that will be taking part, and enjoy some delicious refreshments and excellent coffee while you’re there!

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas…cake. Pop on down and see the lovely folks at Baxter Baristas at 16 Hales Street and sample a slice with a festive brew! Made to a 200 year old recipe, and decorated simply, with marzipan and icing, this a traditional but relatively light fruit cake. Yum.
