π A Heartfelt Thank You to Speciality Brands Ltd! π
They are contributing 10p from each bottle they sell to our charity
A quote from Chris Seale from Speciality Brands
" The cause they champion is one that resonates deeply with our business and team, as we witness the challenges faced by our industry first-hand while also recognizing the wider social impact of the economic environment.
The staffing challenges within the hospitality sector are a daily reality for us, and OAPA's incredible work aims to bridge the gap between unemployment and the hospitality industry.
Along with our financial contributions, we are equally passionate about our volunteering efforts and involving some of our brands in the process, raising substantial donations.'
With Speciality Brands we have raised over Β£100,000.
With this amount we can fund our initiatives and provide better support to those facing homelessness.

Big shout-out to and Carly Gill for hosting our Passport 2 Employment week! π
Our candidates learned so much from Hilton's amazing staff, masterclasses and work experience opportunities. We're thrilled to report that 100% of our candidates felt that they had significantly grown in confidence and felt much better equipped to excel in the workplace. Two landed immediate job offers, five secured interviews at the DoubleTree and the remaining were referred to alternative Hilton Hotels closer to home. π
Β
A quote from Will Andrews, our Learning and Development Coach who ran the sessions throughout the week
"I would love to send a special thank you to all the team at Double Tree Hilton Tower of London. From the moment we arrived we were received 5 star service. Hilton went above and beyond to provide us with their finest facilities, guest speakers and work experience opportunities. Working in their stunning business conference room overlooking London all week wasnβt too bad either. But most importantly, every single member of their team were totally onboard with our mission of getting brilliant people into the hospitality industry."Β

Our Story
The project was inspired by Greg & Gill Manghamβs refusal to accept that all people who are homeless or rough sleepers were in these situations due to some form of abuse or addiction.
At the same time, there was an ever increasing awareness that the hospitality industry needed to employ a large number of team members to meet the needs of an ever increasing industry.
THE IDEA
It seemed only sensible to marry the need for new team members within the hospitality industry with those who, with the right opportunity, would be able to get their lives back on track.
