Our August Elan Valley Ride is drawing closer, and preparations are well underway.
We do need more wonderful volunteers to help
with stewarding, safety crossings and many other tasks please.
Either for the Friday 23rd (setting up)
Saturday 24th or Sunday 25th
Both days would be great too
You will be fed, watered and very much appreciated.

This weekend EGB M&NW group helped to organise an endurance taster session for members of the Gogerddan Pony Club (plus a bonus Vale of Clettwr Pony Club - Public member). Starting with an unmounted rally on Friday kindly hosted by Annette with her excellent presentation explaining what the sport of endurance entails, Saturday then saw nine young riders presenting their horses to vetting, completing a short route followed by a final vetting. All of the riders presented their ponies extremely well for vetting and did a great job at trotting them up. Well done all, we thought you were all awesome and hope to see you out at some rides in the future!

Pony Club Taster session well underway!

Julie Jones, Bethan Lewis, Charis Denham and Anita Gordon scored highly in the Performance Formula in very competitive classes.

Preparations for our Elan Valley Ride on the 24th & 25th August are well under way. Today Bethan & I checked out a new loop we want to introduce in order to cut down on road work. Wow ! is all I can say. rides well, stunning views and will make our ride even more fabulous. Thank you to Kim Bussell who showed us the her side of the hill and advised us on the best route.

Mae'n bleser mawr i ni gyhoeddi dewis Tîm Dygnwch Cymru i gystadlu yn y Rhyngwladol Cartref yn Kilkenny, Iwerddon Awst 2024.
It gives us great pleasure to announce the selection of the Wales Endurance Team to compete at the Home International in Kilkenny, Ireland August 2024.

A glorious day with views as far as the eye could see in all directions!!
We covered 16miles of beautiful Teifi Pools nicely followed by cake! Happy horses and happy riders. 🐴

Congratulations to our group member, young rider Maisie Denham after taking on the challenge of riding the two day 80km at Golden Horse Shoe ride, being awarded best rider under 21 and Noddy winning Best Condition for his class. Congratulations 👏🎉

We are holding a taster session on Endurance for Gogerddan Pony Club on Saturday, 22nd June.
Volunteers are needed for this event.
An afternoon at Cambrian Cross Country.
If you can help for a few hours, we would greatly appreciate it.
Let's help encourage more young people to try endurance and eventually become members!
