Well my husband, Danny and I cycled the Camel Trail today. It runs from Bodmin to Wadebridge and on to Padstow. It a lovely ride, about 27 miles and fairly flat.

After 27 miles I felt so exhausted! Danny laughed because to him it was so easy! He is quite amazing and is doing an incredible
cycle ride from Landsend to John O’Groats in early September. He will cycle an average of 108 miles a day for 9 days!! Argh…. He is doing this for the Prostate Cancer charity after a close friend and family member had this awful disease.

Make sure, if you are in the risk category, you get checked out, it’s a simple test now.

If you come to Cornwall, do check this ride out, lots of families do it and you can do as much riding as you choose.

Gardening is really enjoyable this time of year, it is good for the soul. I know some of you will have some amazing gardens, so please do let us see them. We will put up some really good gardens on a Trailback post if you let us see what you have achieved, big or small we would just like to see some talent.

You may develop the wild flowers 🌷 in your garden which would be perfect for the bees. Love the outdoors.

We at Trailback would like to tell you the story of Vibram and their fantastic Italian soles. It is a tragic story but something truly amazing came out of it.

Vitali Bramani was an Italian mountaineer, in an expedition in 1935, 6 of his mountaineering friends died in a tragic accident in the Italian Alps. The tragedy was blamed on the use of leather soles. After the accident, Bramani got together with Pirelli to develop the Carramato design or tank tread. This sole was designed to provide excellent traction on the widest range of surfaces, have a high degree of abrasion resistance and made using the latest vulcanised rubber of the time. This sole is now known as the commando sole which is used on our Trailbacks.

This is a very sad story that has touched us here at Trailback and we thought you should know about the story of Vibram if you plan on becoming a Trailbacker.

I would like to thank Vibram so much for saying “yes” to become a part of my brand when everyone else in the industry said “no”. You believed in my product which changed everything for me, Thank you Vibram.

My boys, Fin & Mack and my husband, Danny are keen surfers. My husband is a waterman and loves to swim too. Me, I would rather be on the water in a gig or my kayak, being in the big waves scares me. Walking the coast path is also something we all love to do. So that is the Trailback family. What do you like to do?

This is , world record holder for running a marathon in every country in the world, that is just amazing. I thought I would name a more obscure country like Serbia and of course he said yes. He gets this all the time and will never fail.

Nick kindly agreed to let us have some photos of him wearing our original Crofty boots and also the newly launched Pendeen Chelsea boots. He is wearing the black Pendeen here. We also have brown with a red stretch panel. He has been so supportive of my Cornish brand. That is just the kind of guy he is, thank you Nick.
