Well I hope the weather is better where you are?? It’s tipping it down here!!
This week flew by and I have a feeling it will only get quicker and quicker now we’re on the home straight to tinsel time!!
You’ll find me scurrying around in my studio today manicly embroidering and sorting!! I have lots coming up and work is begging to be finished!!

I’ll be embroidering garments for the pop up evening at on the 23rd of this month!!

Morning, I just had to share this beautiful image that shot this autumn! I’m in love with the mood of this picture and all it’s wonderful flora and fauna!! I sometimes forget how many jackets I’ve embroidered and it’s fantastic to have clients show me pics of them wearing them and how they style them up!! I have to say this is one of my faves and looks beautiful!
It’s the last day of my pop up and I’d love to meet you!!
There are some jackets left and lots of gingham skirts that can be worn in any season!! See you there… also Mandy’s shop is totally devine… I can’t leave without a small purchase every time I’m there!! I would heartily recommend a visit.

Here’s one that’s now sold and I’ll be sad to say tuttar to this little beauty. It was fun to embroider and it’s super cute to wear…. Onwards and upwards as they say!!

Good morning on this bird singing filled Sunday morning!!
Yesterday we went camping (well camping in our caravan which is technically kinda cheating but we get cups of tea in the warmth etc etc!!?)
Only to be told after arriving and spending a long time ferrying all our stuff to the caravan to pack it and driving to beautiful Suffolk to be told that our booking had been cancelled due to the wet weather!!! What?? A campsite that doesn’t allow you on the grass in wet weather?? I’ve never heard anything like this and suffice to say we were miffed!!
Apparently they’d emailed us?? We didn’t get it!!
So it was back home in the rain and one unhappy kid the other one non plussed as he wanted Wi-Fi anyway! So we’re making the best of if it today and heading out for a day trip today to make up for such disappointment.

Also, here’s a blue and white one I finished last week.. it’s heading to someone who will hopefully love it and treasure it for a long while.

I’m showing you a gingham free garment this morning although the gingham does feature on the last shot (sorry I couldn’t resist!)
This linen blouse is a lovely little blue number which I’ve then added some blush pink embroidery too!! It’s a good example of working with what I’ve got and it could be something we could all be doing out there?? If you’ve got a sweet little something in your wardrobe which you’ve possibly fallen out of love with, it could be the perfect item to get an update on?? Why not!! Don’t chuck or forget it, send it my way for some loving uk sustainable embroidery??

Don’t let any fool you that it’s easy to take a decent pic of yourself in your work!! My oh my, it’s takes some time!! I find myself walking around my house and sometimes tip toeing so nobody else knows what I’m up to (as I hate an audience!!) just to get a half decent shot! And I know you lovely lot out there like to see the garments I create actually on a bod!
Anyway, here’s me in my patch pocket skirt and puff sleeve blouse!! All embroidered and made here in the uk using a linen that has many many super super credentials and qualities!!
I often think that if I had a lovely summer wedding to go to this year, I’d team this up with a pair of pretty kitten heals and a hair corsage and away if go!! Merrily wafting around in embroidered gingham for the day!!

Morning to all you Sunday lovers!! I’m planning on a slower day today, one which I seriously need and want to have!! It’s been a crazy few if not more weeks!

Pocket power and the love of a pocket!! What could be better than an embroidered patch pocket ?? I’m a lover of a pocket and I know a lot you lovely lot are too?

So here’s one of my ‘All the Blues’ embroidered jackets which will be heading out to one of my gorgeous clients later today!! It’s a blue tone on tone and usually has a pop of ivory embroidery too, but this particular lovely lass wanted just the tones of blues and I have to say it is so subtly beautiful with the blue on blue!!

Morning all. Here’s the ever so gorgeous .gardener in one of my teal gingham sustainable skirts! She popped in to say hi last week at my pop up and swiftly bought this little beauty! Uncannily she’d knitted a sweet teal jumper which she happened to be wearing and what do you know, it was the perfect combo!

And that’s a wrap from my pop up Mandy Leeson-Vanil] in Woodbridge! What a few days of meeting so many wonderful folks and chatting all things embroidery and sustainable! The response to my work was out of this world and at times very touching and unbelievably kind. Thank you to all who made at times a very soggy trudge to the shop (as the weather was pretty bleak for most of the three days!)
The biggest thank you goes out to the lovely Mandy who owns the beautiful Mandy Leeson-Vanil] who kindly invited me to do a pop up in her dining room and who supplied me with many cups of tea and delicious cake along with oodles of encouragement. Without the support and shout outs that Mandy did none of last week would have been possible!
I had a few funny moments of clients actually buying the skirt i had on and standing in the dining room in a pair of tights! Luckily I did have another skirt to pop on to get home in, thank goodness! I bumped into old work colleagues who I didn’t know lived in the area and all in all had a ball.
It’s now onto the next few weeks ahead, of many commissions and preparing for my next event in a few weeks time in Bury st Edmunds for the !!
I had only one jacket left at the end of the pop up and if you were after it last week (which some of you were, then I’ll be adding it to my website later this morning so feel free to purchase if you like it?)
