There are many Squeebles in our stable and some pop up more often than others. Flozz is a rarity, so in celebration of her, a few facts: Flozz is as stretchy as an elastic band; she collects paper clips that she uses to make sculptures of famous pop stars; her hobby is exploring caves.

Squeebles apps contain in-depth stats to keep parents/teachers in touch with their children’s learning. But many also contain child-friendly stats, where they can review which Squeebles they’ve earned, how many stars they have to trade in, and a rough progress overview.

Children need lots of motivation while learning, and we’ve tried to offer this in multiple ways in our Squeebles Times Tables Connect app. While some might be incentivised by attempting to beat their best time or enter the high score board, others might prefer earning rewards less closely related to their learning. For this, they can focus in earning Squeebles, turns on the River Rapids mini game, and stars that they can trade in for different boats for use within the game. For children with visual stress, head to the Parent/Teacher Zone of our Squeebles Spelling Test app, where you can change the colour that appears behind any text in the app, or set a full screen coloured overlay (you can also change the opacity of both). With the Squeebles Spelling test app, you can create and record your own tests, or use any of our pre-recorded tests, which follow UK National Curriculum guidelines (if you’re overseas, it’s easy to re-record any words with your own pronunciation, or to alter spelling).

Using the Squeebles Punctuation app to practise speech marks, children can place inverted commas into a range of sentences. Suitable for reading ages from 5 to 11+.

This is a matching pairs game in our Squeebles Tell the Time app, which focuses specifically on converting between analogue and digital times. Each correctly matched pair uncovers another square of a picture. The app also allows parents and teachers to upload their own photos for children who would enjoy that.

Our very first Squeebles Times Tables app was created in 2009, based entirely on the things we wanted for our own children’s learning. Several iterations later, that thinking still underpins everything we do (even though the child who inspired it is now 21).

The Squeebles Spelling Test app is also a great place to practise spelling words in other languages too. Simply create a custom test in the Parent/Teacher Zone.
