After a few technical issues! Here are the Photos from this years BYCAC.

Thank you to all the marshals who make time to make the BYCAC run smoothly. You guys and girls are incredible. And finally the parents, guardians and competitors who were just awesome. We were blown away with the standard this year. Just brilliant.
Congratulations again to Lucas Orton for 1st place, Rowan Bennington in 2nd place and James Floyd in 3rd.

Before we start the mammoth task of going through all the photos. I must say a huge thank you to Tracy Rock (Alfie Rocks Mum) for the amazing cakes!! They went down very well. Thank you very much. They were amazing 🎂🎣

May I introduce you to the new BYCAC 2023 Champion!!!

Lucas Orton with a massive 244lb 7oz!! Huge congratulations Lucas. They just kept coming! Brilliant angling mate.

2nd was Rowan Bennington with 159lb and battled on from the start and even hooking one 10 mins before the ho**er! Again awesome angling.

3rd was James Floyd with 115lb that was extremely well deserved.

Massive congratulations to all the competitors for making the BYCAC a very special event. The level of angling was again mind blowing. We were all very proud of you all. Thanks to the parent/guardians for all you support. Again you make the event what it is.

Thanks to all the marshals for being away awesome. Very special bunch of humans. Also massive thank you to Ian Russell and Finley Todhunter for being amazing. All the camera work and updates were brilliant. Thanks you so so much.

It’s official started!! Quickest fish out to Charlie Cliverd with a 22lb 10oz. Then Jordan Laflin with a 16lb 14oz and Rowan Bennington with his new PB at 30lb on the nose!! Awesome start. All to play for as we are only 3 1/2 hours in!! Let’s go BYCAC.

Best of luck to everyone in the BYCAC 2023 that starts tomorrow!! Lots of serious faces tonight looking sharp. I have a feeling this is going to be one epic match.

* Important Notice *
This time of year with water temperatures high, biosecurity and personal hygiene is never more important . Can you please make sure that all nets, weigh slings and mats are dipped into the dip tanks all around Linear Fisheries. Every lake has them and it is in our rules. This will keep not only our fishery safe but all water bodies.
Also please make sure you wash your hands regularly and use hand sanitizer when near any water courses as best practice. This is also important after using the net dips - there are also plastic gloves proved at the net dip stations.

**Entries will open at 7pm tonight- For The 2023 BYCAC**

The match will be held over the 1st to the 3rd of Sept, with the venue being Oxlease.
Cost for this years event will be, £70, with payment through the following link securing your place https://shop.linear-fisheries.co.uk/collections/all
There are limited number, so places will be taken on a first come first served basis. If you go to purchase a spot through our shop link above and it states Out Of Stock, then the event is already full.
Whilst making the payment, please include the email address that you wish to be contacted on. Further details will then follow in 2-3 weeks.
