Want to get your rocks off? Don't we all tbh 😉 but I'm thinking this practice could be a wonderful addition if you want to use an Oathing Stone in your ceremony, as my gorgeous couple Sophie and Oliver will be doing in their ceremony next June...The Oathing Stone is an old Scottish tradition where the couple place their hands on a stone while saying their wedding vows. ... It is believed that holding the stone during the vows in turn casts or sets them in stone..it's where the phrase 'set in stone' is thought to originate....So Rock Wrapping is going to be my project for this week!
DIY: Learn The Simple, Yet Surprisingly Satisfying, Art of Rock Wrapping Want to save money on Christmas gifts and teach the kids a cool new nature craft? Wrap up some rocks! About Eliza, Celebrant Andalusia
Hello and welcome to my page! If you’re looking here then perhaps congratulations are also in order, if you’re newly engaged or about to celebrate an anniversary with a vow renewal! Or perhaps you’re planning a romantic elopement in sunny Spain? Whatever you’re looking for to celebrate your love, I’m very happy to support and work with you to make it happen! I’m Eliza, a Humanist* and a Celebrant.
I love all things wedding and relationships and trained to be a Wedding Celebrant with Humanist UK in 2017, after the pleasure of planning my own wedding in 2016. I love the creativity and joy which comes along with this work and feel it resonates perfectly with my creativity, flair and sense of fun. To me, being true to your values and fully inclusive is paramount, as is living this one life we have to the best of our capabilities. Equality and inclusion are particularly important to me and these values are integral to the ceremonies I create with you. With integrity and authenticity, I’ll work alongside you, with compassion and enthusiasm, to make sure your ceremony perfectly reflects your unique personalities and stories; your ceremony, your way.
It’s such a privilege to work with couples on such an important event and I work hard, with a great deal of thought and consideration, to ensure you feel engaged in the whole process - from the planning process to the actual ceremony itself. Having had a long career in clinical psychology, I’ve well developed skills in calming nerves, public speaking and have a genuine love of working with people from all walks of life. The more diverse and adventurous, the better! With me as your celebrant, you can trust that there’ll be no surprises (unless they’re agreed!) and that you’re in safe hands as an Accredited Humanist UK celebrant. I love what I do and will treat you and your guests with kindness and respect at all times. I work hard to ensure all my couples, their unique stories and personalities, are central to their ceremony and I love to find creative and fun ways of bringing this to the fore in your ceremony.
The value I place on our relationship starts from our very first contact and certainly doesn’t end when the ceremony is over. I guess because you’ve let me in to your relationships, we develop something which naturally transcends a purchaser:supplier dynamic...I am your ally, friend, guide and supporter. I wear my heart on my sleeve and approach everything I do with energy, enthusiasm and a determination to please. I’m here for you 100% throughout the planning process, provide regular communication and consultation and the resulting ceremony will surpass expectations. Have a look at what some of my couples said about their experiences....https://humanist.org.uk/elizajohnson/what-couples-say/
