‘R££L FIFTY’ made with real £50 notes. This piece like much of my work is based on a mispent childhood. I would stop off at a dry cleaners on my way to school to put my dinner money in the fruit machine.
Original note, with hand made and hand finished detail.
I have one of these only and it’s available on on 26th for my show ‘MIXTAPE’ , the title conjures up an analogue period in life, I wanted specifically a non AI show so invited 5 artists to join me that will all bring their own take to the show. Expect unique work , great music and of course refreshments ! The PV is 6-930 but the party will continue after until the music stops ( and myself playing old skool house into the night)
This show is a sell out but I’m leaving the gates open for a few more cheeky free tickets so don’t sleep !

These little steamed up bank notes are all one offs for a little ‘R£FL£CTION’ collection I’ve been working on. Posca,paint,resin and painstakingly finished with a .5mm syringe 💉.
Each of these will be available at ‘MIXTAPE’ on on 26th July where I’ll be releasing some new work , oh and some cool

Today marks the 40th anniversary of the , 💜 for me was and always will be the most iconic album ever made. 1984 growing up I listened to continuously. Taken too soon 🌂

Morning mischief.

The first ever cassette face I made back in ‘22, has now become a mainstay in my collection. I have 2 new ones coming shortly. These are available with or without LED lighting in an unlimited colour spectrum. DM me for details 👍

‘Mickey House’ reflecting in steamed mirror. 1 metre x 1 metre . Spray can, print and resin onto board.

Deal finally complete on this piece and heading out to its new owner next week. Made in colab with DJ and Producer . Layered hand painted pieces over original abstract spray can work and resin set.

Roll back to 2022 and my show ‘Ravers Of The Lost Art’ was a real turning point for my work. I made a movie 🎥 about a young rave organiser in 1988 who buried a suitcase full of cash , pills and belongings, only to return 36 years later to retrieve it. Every piece of work I created at that show linked to the suitcase, several of which have become staple pieces in my collection. (Winged pop, bank of mumu, cassette face)
1988 was such a special year for me when I discovered house music in Ibiza, a massive influence on my work.
Today I say goodbye to the case which has gone to a great home .

These wall pieces have been really well received. Each one a unique representation of the decline of currency in our society made with £10 and £1 notes with posca, paint and weeds and flowers.

Happy heavenly birthday 🌂 , what can I say about this absolute icon that hasn’t been said before. Growing up in the 80’s was and still is my absolute icon! Sadly taken too soon. Hopefully I have done him justice here in my reflection series based on steamed mirrors. I have a large collection of these under wraps but today seemed the right day to show this. Coming soon to galleries current and new.

‘Give Peace a chance’ feels very apt right now. This is a test piece for the final piece which will be about 1.3 metres long finished. Gesso onto board with acrylic paint finish and 40 layer
