Year 2 are loving sewing their raincoats for their teddy bears this week in Design Technolgy. They have been demonstrating both kindness and teamwork as they help and encourage one another. Well done Year 2 ⭐️
Ofsted are visiting Wigan Council in July to review their services for children, young people and young adults with special educational needs and how they support them to prepare for adulthood.
As part of this process, Ofsted need as many children, young people, parents/carer & professionals as possible to complete the appropriate surveys below.
They are particularly interested to collect the views of parents / carers of children with SEND.

Some fantastic stories written in French by our Year 4 class.
They have explored different jungle animals and how to describe them vividly using adjectives.
We will be selling ice pops everyday this week after school. They are 50p each and please bring change where possible.

Bounce-a-Thon 😎
We are delighted to announce that we have arranged a sponsored 'Bounce-a-Thon' for Wednesday 10th July.
It would be great if children could get sponsors for the event. The class that raises the most funds will have free access to the inflatables at lunch time. We are sending home sponsor forms today and funds can also be sent via the link below:

We done to this Year 2 swimming super star who is now onto Stage 4! ⭐️
Year 2 have been listening to music from the different decades and have been talking about which decade is their favourite and why. The different genres of music made us all want to dance 🎶

Year 4 have worked extremely hard over this last week to create their own non fiction leaflets all about Chester Zoo. They have included paragraphs, specific vocabulary and a range of interesting facts.

Today is the Solemnity of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus. It is also the World Day of Prayer for the Sanctification of Priests, where priests reflect on the importance and dignity of their vocation.
Fantastic sporting achievements from our Year 1 children. A football superstar and a super swimmer who now swims in the deep end.
Mrs Rabbani counted up the points from sports day yesterday and Green team were the overall winners. Congratulations to Green team!!
