Upsetting to be told of some sad news tonight but feel proud and valued to be told you gave hope, support and went the extra mile when no one else would, the highs and lows, more than a job ❤️🩹
It’s not just a lack of social care that’s keeping old people trapped in hospital beds | David Lee Fear of infection means people are discouraged from mingling, resulting in unnecessary physical and mental deterioration, says former NHS manager David Lee
Make a difference
‘Thank you. We are enormously grateful for what you did today and now feel there is a future. He was tired but not complaining of more pain. A good sign.’
Back to the daily grind for many involving sustained postures sat at at a desk with less motivation to get out for an active break given the weather 🥶 regular stretching throughout the day aswell as optimising work environment ergonomics help. However if those aches and pains won’t go away have you considered a sports massage…. It’s not only beneficial to a sports athlete you know!!! Get in touch for more info if the above sounds familiar! 07496293456
Happy new year from Rebecca at rehabilit8

Falls are multi factorial behavioural physical and environmental aspects should be considered and risk assessed, it’s important to maintain an exercise regime to increase strength and balance reducing the risk of sarcopenia and deconditioning.
Check out the CSP guidance on tips to reduce your risks at home
With many individuals becoming less active and more housebound increasing deconditioning and frailty keeping on moving is essential to increase independence, here are 6 simple exercises recommended to stay active
If you or a family member are becoming less active and you need support/guidance to regain control whether that be from a simple exercise programme or intensive rehabilitation to regain function and independence please contact me on 07496 293456
Contributing towards this project to improve the outcomes gained for both my nhs and private practice roles, consensus re exercise programmes to get best results

Hi I’m a newbie to instagram so thought it would be a perfect opportunity for me to introduce myself and get to know each other better ....
5 facts about me:
1️⃣ My name is Rebecca I have lived in Shropshire all my life, I live in Newport with my husband and 2 energetic children.
2️⃣My favourite animals are dogs, I have an 18 month old black lab- such a loyal breed.
3️⃣i have been a chartered physiotherapist for the last 20 years, I started my business to focus on supporting others to improve their health and well-being.
4️⃣My hobbies are walking, playing hockey and crafting- something I need to allocate more time to.
5️⃣ I love to travel and have been very fortunate to have had the opportunity to spread my wings afar, lockdown had hindered this!!
Your turn, what are 5 facts you would like to share with me....
A year on and what a tough year it has been for everyone, my thoughts are with the families of those who lost their lives. Tonight we will be lighting a candle to remember all the lives lost 💛
Abit about me...... I qualified as a physio in 2004 and specialised in trauma/orthopaedics within the acute setting and elderly complex care. In 2019 I moved into the community supporting elderly complex care and hospital admission avoidance, working closely within a multidisciplinary team we have played a pivotal role within carehomes supporting end of life care, admission avoidance, falls prevention and Support throughout the covid pandemic. I have always had a passion for rehabilitation so during this time I began my own private physiotherapy rehab service supporting individuals to regain independence and improved quality of life aswell as recovery from illness, injury and or surgery.
Suffering with more aches and pains from increased screen time due to remote working, change in working patterns, become weak and compensating for that weakness thus causing associated pain.... sounds familiar ..... get in touch
