The publication of the latest report from the Education Endowment Foundation recommends placing language at the heart of any social mobility strategy – fantastic to see. Language as a Child Wellbeing Indicator, a key report for , suggests early language development should be made a public health wellbeing indicator just like obesity and vaccinations, given the long lasting and wide ranging impacts of having poor language.
We hope to see the recommendations of the report brought to reality.
