Not our usual thing but helping Chris @ grumpy1260. He needed us to re-locate the rear shock mounts on this GSXR track bike. I decided on a 3 position top bracket which effects rear ride height slightly which in turn decreases the rake the higher it goes. I quite enjoyed doing this, I am thinking of branching into other fields ππ GRUMPY 1260

A brief history
Fenland Choppers has been going for some time now and it was time to put a brief history of where it all started Read on.....
It was started by Joe White in his garage at home as a bit of a laugh back in 2003 during the OCC craze. It was mainly building frames for myself and to my surprise a few people I knew liked them and asked me to build them one. This went on for a few years until 2007 I was bored working shifts and I thought maybe to start a business for real.
On 2nd Sep 2007 I went self employed and FC Engineering (FC being Fenland Choppers) was born and I was still working from home. I started to advertise Fenland Chopper Frames on ebay and started my own website up. Mobile phones were pretty basic back then so ebay, a website and magazine adverts were duly used to promote my frames. 2008 saw the recession kick in but this didnβt seem to stop people buying my stuff and in 2009 we moved into our first proper workshop. In 2010 we registered the business name Fenland Choppers ltd with UK companies house and the names not been changed since.
I have had help in the workshop along the way in varying degrees which helped the business grow so thanks need to go out to Steve Bartram, Julian Crawford, Mark Roberts, Martin Gathercole, Katt Dutton, Matty Barrit, Stebbo, Andy Maddison and last but most importantly Artis Locmelis and John Buffman.
