Once the apprenticeship is complete and a competency test passed, a full-time role is available with a competitive salary and opportunities for career progression.

We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as an Operations and Logistics Support Assistant. The successful candidate will provide support to our operations and logistics department, helping to ensure that our day-to-day operations run smoothly.

Responsibilities:

· Handling front line customer contact via phone and email, including responding to general client enquiries, submitting and receiving client correspondence

· Administration of documents and quotations

· Proactive support to the site teams

Requirements:

· Excellent telephone manner and communication skills

· Ability to prioritise effectively and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

· Proactive approach to problem-solving, able to remain calm under pressure

· Proficient in Microsoft Office packages

Qualifications:

· Prior experience in an office-based role or customer service environment preferred but not required

· Strong team player with the ability to work accurately in a team environment

We've officially kicked off stage one of our Soap Box build! As some of you may know, we've entered our team into the Great Dunmow Soap Box Race, which is the 2nd largest race of its kind in the UK! 🙌

So far, we've been hard at work designing, marking up, and cutting out the main body of the soap box. It's been amazing to see volunteers from all across the business come together to lend a hand and make this project a success.

We can't wait to see how the rest of the build unfolds, and we're looking forward to racing day. Keep an eye out for more updates on our progress!

Ending the Day on a High Note - The Company Drumming Session 🥁

To give everyone a mental break after a day filled with serious topics, we ended the StartRight 2023 programme with a lighthearted and fun activity - a full company drumming session.

With help from Richard Enion and the team at Drumming Team Building, we brought everyone together to reduce stress and bond as a team. This was also the first time we had everyone in the same room, so it was a special occasion to mark.

We have achieved GOLD status with the Supply Chain School! ⭐

This is an important step in supporting our client requirements in their sustainability, social value and beyond. The accreditation and training through the School, supports us in being able to speak and understand what our customers need.

The content available can be basic in delivery but also helps us understanding the weight put on fulfilling government and UN Global goals.

This year we started as we mean to go on. With all staff from both our Great Dunmow and Midlands offices attending the StartRight 2023 event, this was something quite different to our usual day to day activities - but the day went without a hitch.
