Bonne Année! Classes restart this week and I am looking forward to seeing everyone again.

It’s a sign! I will be doing just this when we return to classes from Monday. Looking forward to seeing everyone soon.

Last lesson for year 6. I feel quite emotional about these amazing children moving on to secondary school, they have all been with me for years and were my very first reception group. They have all showed great commitment and foregone the delights of the playground/field at lunchtime every week.

Fantastic last lesson creativity from Key Stage 2 Tuesday group! Une souris, un chat, un papillon et une coccinelle.

Great fun was had by all today making models on the theme of “la plage” (the beach). Can you spot un seau, un parasol, le soleil, des glaces, des bonhommes de sable (rather than de neige as is more usual!) and lots of other things including Madame Fox?

Last day of term for my amazing superstars in year 1 and 2! Twelve certificates and medals have been quarantined ready to be given out in recognition of the hard work they have put in this year. Looking forward to seeing them all again in September, with some new faces too.

Some great town planning and artwork by year 6! They used the maps to describe how to get to places in their towns.

I am feeling very proud to have received this award, which I was due to get last year until Covid put a stop to our annual meeting.

Thank you to all of my wonderful pupils and families who have enabled me to do a job that I love and find so rewarding. Here’s to the next five years!
