Áccent Millinery
Welcome to ÁCCENT MILLINERY! My name's Adam and I am a milliner and visual artist with a love for the weird and the whimsical.
Where hunger dooms the heedless 🌱 SARRACENIA is inspired by the sinister beauty of pitcher plants. This design is the first of my ‘mashups’ celebrating 10 years of millinery and blends the form of my draconic headpieces with the carnivorous themes of my flytrap fascinator.
Drawn into darkness by tricks of the light 🌱 SARRACENIA is inspired by the sinister beauty of pitcher plants. This design is the first of my ‘mashups’ celebrating 10 years of millinery and blends the form of my draconic headpieces with the carnivorous themes of my flytrap fascinator.
Righteousness is a sweet nectar 🌱 SARRACENIA is inspired by the sinister beauty of pitcher plants. This design is the first of my ‘mashups’ celebrating 10 years of millinery and blends the form of my draconic headpieces with the carnivorous themes of my flytrap fascinator.
Happy Earth Day! 🌍🌱 SARRACENIA is inspired by the sinister beauty of pitcher plants, a group of insect-eating species dependent on the preservation of wetland habitats. This design is the first of my ‘mashups’ celebrating 10 years of millinery and blends the form of my draconic headpieces with the carnivorous themes of my flytrap fascinator.
In 2024, ÁCCENT MILLINERY turns 10!
To celebrate a decade of hat-making, I’ll be showcasing original designs and ‘mashups’ blending elements of my previous work to create something new. The first of these, SARRACENIA, will be released to mark Earth Day on April 22nd.
I’m beyond grateful to everyone who has supported my millinery over the last decade. These projects have been precious spaces for joyful, uninhibited self-expression. I’ve learned so much in the process, both about myself and the techniques required to bring increasingly ambitious ideas to life.
Putting together my first fascinator from foam sheets and a headband, I had no idea how much exploring this art form would change my life for the better, and I’m excited to see what the next 10 years have in store.
