Takeley with Little Canfield Church
Two churches in the villages of Takeley and Little Canfield, Essex, part of the Diocese of Chelmsford and very near to Stansted Airport.
Welcome to our page. We are a parish with two church buildings in the villages of Takeley and Little Canfield. Each Sunday we have a service at 9.30am, which alternates between All Saints and Holy Trinity. Both churches have children's areas with toys and activities.
It has been feeling more like autumn over the last couple of days. If you need a warming drink (or a cooling one) pop into Holy Trinity church from 2pm today, you'll find Takeley Teapot ready to welcome you.
Here's this week's news, see you at Takeley Teapot from 2pm on Saturday and for Holy Communion, also at Holy Trinity, Takeley at 9:30am on Sunday

Join us for a nice cup of tea or a warming coffee at the Takeley teapot. We'll be at Holy Trinity church, Takeley from 2pm on Saturday 7 September.
See you there!
A huge thank you to everyone who helped us to run our burger stall at the Countess of Warwick show!
Beautifully Cinnabar moth caterpillars in the churchyard 🐛 🦋 lovely to peacefully watch them ❤️
We're still looking for volunteers, can you help? In return we can offer:
* free burger
* free entry to the Countess of Warwick show
* fun & friendly day and a warm fuzzy feeling that you've done something good!
We need enough volunteers to staff the burger stall at the Countess of Warwick show (a great local family day out!).
We understand that volunteering takes time away from other commitments so we'd be grateful of any time you can offer from an hour or two to all day both days!
A reminder, if you could spare an hour or two we'd be very grateful!
It's all going on at the churches this weekend! Instead of Eat.Pray.Love we have Tea.Pray.Tea

Free burger anyone?
Well, when we say free, there is no monetary cost to pay, but we would very much appreciate some of your time. We are running the burger stall at the Countess of Warwick show and need to increase the number of volunteers we have. Could you volunteer for a couple of hours? In return you gain free access to the show and we'll give you that promised free burger!
The sun is out! We're hoping it stays that way so that you can join us for an afternoon relaxing over a delicious cream tea.
We'll be in the churchyard (on sunny days) or inside the beautiful 12th century All Saints church building on Sunday afternoons, 3-5pm, throughout the summer.
No booking required, all welcome, please come along.
Once again we'll be lighting up the local skies in celebration of Guy Fawkes night. Please save the date, 1 November. Further details and tickets will be released in the autumn.
How many dots appear on a pair of dice?
