We are delighted to announce that along with our sister choir Wheelhouse Folk Choir, we raised a whopping £3524.91 for local homelessness charity Path Devon. Thank you so much to everyone who helped us raise such a huge amount for this fantastic charity.

A few photos from our spectacular Winter Songs concert tonight at St Peter & The Holy Apostle church in Plymouth! The culmination of months of learning and rehearsing. Such complete joy! We absolutely loved it. We had a mix of full choir songs as well as three small group songs which were so sensitively sung and so moving- amazing to see our members putting themselves forward and having such courage. A massive well done to all our singers!

We are looking for bass singers to join us. Baritones and basses welcome.

We are looking for friendly, enthusiastic people who would like to be part of an exciting and ambitious choir.

❌No audition
❌ No requirement to read music

✅ Learn unique arrangements of folk songs in harmony
✅ Learn singing techniques
✅ Build confidence
✅ perform at concerts & festivals
✅ be part of a joyful, friendly community
✅ Beginners welcome
✅ Learning tracks to listen at home as well as scores and lyrics.

You will need to be:
➡️ Able to sing in tune
➡️ Open to learning new skills
➡️ Able to commit to rehearsals on Tuesday evenings 7:30-9pm
➡️ Enthusiastic

We perform regularly throughout the year and our directors Julu and Heg aim to book the choir for a wide variety of local community performances, large concerts as well as professional bookings at festivals and events.

The music we sing is centred around traditional folk songs but we include a wide range of contemporary folk and indie in our set to keep our sound fresh and varied.

January is the best time to join us because we don’t gig until spring and we will be learning new material.

🎄CHARITY ANNOUNCEMENT🎄

We are so pleased to be raising money for Plymouth’s homeless charity Path Devon www.pathdevon.org this Christmas. We’ll be raising money at all of our Christmas gigs alongside our sister choir Wheelhouse Folk Choir.

Path Devon are an independent charity working to reduce homelessness in Plymouth. The charity’s objective is to relieve poverty by providing assistance to those in housing need.

They do incredible work and we are proud to be supporting them this year. Christmas and the cold season is a particularly tough time for those who don’t have a home. Help us raise as much money as possible by buying tickets our big concert or coming to one of our gigs and putting some money in the bucket!

Our tenors at their half term sectional rehearsal! Our members really go the extra mile at finding time to bond. It’s that connection with each other that creates a safe space at choir. It’s not just about the music but the bond between them helps make the music better!

This season we’ve sung at some amazing venues including and we had the pleasure of performing at Plymouth Pirates Weekend and the incredible Falmouth International Sea Shanty Festival.

The joy and sense of belonging among our singers is a special thing. We have loved it!

Wow! We had an utterly magical night singing at Market Hall last night! What a spectacular venue!
