Someone recently joked (least we hope it was a joke!) that Accucraft hadn't produced any 1:32 scale locomotives..... thanks to our kind customers we were able to display a small selection at the G1MRA 75th Anniversary Show at Bicester.
We are very shocked and deeply saddened at the news of the death of our beloved Queen, Queen Elizabeth. At this sombre time we offer our deepest condolences to Her Majesty’s family, and take this opportunity to express our considerable and heartfelt support to our new Sovereign, King Charles III.
The office will remain closed until 20th September in consequence.

This month we have some good news! After many delays, the 1:19 (16mm scale) Beira ‘Lawley’ 4-4-0s are in production and we are now confident that we will have a sample model at the National Garden Railway Show on 25th June and we look forward to seeing you there. Accucraft UK Ltd.
Accucraft UK Ltd. are the sole UK importers for the complete range of products manufactured by Accucraft Trains of the USA and Aster Hobby of Japan as well as the J&M Coach range. We also distribute the models made for Accucraft Australia (Argyle Models) and Accucraft Germany (MBV Schug). In 2015 the firm acquired the intellectual property, designs and tooling of the Gauge 1 Model Co. range and have expanded the existing range of superb Gauge 1 rolling stock. In 2017 the company added the Aster range to its portfolio, allowing it offer alcohol-fired 1:32 models as well as locomotive kits to its range.
Accucraft models are designed to reproduce the prototype as accurately as possible and built to give a lifetime of pleasure in their operation, bringing the joy of affordable live steam to many for the first time. A lot of our early locomotives are still in steam today, proving that they were a worthwhile investment for those who chose Accucraft.
Accucraft UK Ltd was formed in 2004 by Ian and Sandy Pearse. The company incorporated their former business Marches Models, best known for supplying British narrow gauge live steam locomotives for gauges ‘O’ and ’1′. Accucraft UK Ltd continues the work of Marches Models as well as offering customers electrically powered models and ready to run plastic rolling stock in 1:32, 1:20.3, 1:19 and 1:13.7 scales. Accucraft UK Ltd has significantly expanded the range of large scale model railway goods available to the UK and worldwide market and will continue to build on this.
Graham Langer is now managing director of Accucraft (UK) Ltd. Graham has a long involvement in live steam in the garden, his father was a model engineer who built 3 1/2 gauge locomotives; Graham joined the 16mm Association in 1977, funding his hobby by working for the Tunbridge Wells Model Shop during the school holidays - he sold his first Aster, a 2-3-2TC, in 1979!
