A massive ‘thank you’ to all the volunteers who helped us with our Santa Float over Christmas!
We managed to raise just over £6,000 thanks to the generosity of the people of Burntwood and the surrounding areas.
Without the help of our fantastic volunteers (you know who you are! ) we would not been able to go out more than a couple of nights but with their help we managed 12 street collections, 4 tree switch-on's, 2 Christmas fayres, 2 schools, 3 supermarkets and a couple of pubs!
It was fantastic- if not a little hectic – to get back to some sort of normality after the past few years and try and spread a little festive cheer over the Christmas period.
Hopefully we can repeat this again in the coming Christmas and perhaps get a few more to help us do even more! Please don’t hesitate to get in touch if you would like to help!

Rotary Books4Home
Burntwood Rotary are again supporting the Books4Home scheme which has handed out over 100,000 books.
Almost four million children in Britain do not own a book. Rotary has developed a program to give children the opportunity to read and own books.
The donated books are categorized and handed to local schools where children choose a book – take it home – read it and keep it.
If you have any unwanted books, primarily for primary school children, we would be delighted to pass them on to the schools we are linked with.
Please send a message and we will arrange collection.
