Insurance repairs - Facts 🙋
We hear time and time again that a potential customer has been told they can't choose who repairs "their OWN" car.
❗️The truth is "No, it’s your legal right to take your car to a repairer of your choice when making an insurance claim. You don’t have to use one of your insurer’s approved repairers.
❗️You’ll need to let your provider know you want to use your own choice of garage before any work is done on your car but once it is lodged and they have given you a claim reference number the Car Doctor team will deal with everything for you and usually you won't need to speak to them again.
On completion of repairs we will ask you to sign a satisfaction note to say your happy with the repairs and we will also take any excess payment from you.
Then thats it your back on the road in your car 😊

We remove all the fine scratches using special sand papers and techniques.

Remember that usually if you can catch your finger nail in a scratch then it is too deep to polish out.

Wax is applied giving your paintwork clarity and shine, protecting against UV, swirling and helping with the repelling of dirt.

No access dent removal using our Keco UK Glue Pull Repair to acheive a "pull to paint "
This dent had damaged the paintwork so we used different tabs and beams and other tools for tapping down until it is needing the lightest skim of filler and then into paint.
